"And He said unto them, When ye pray, say, our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven" Luke 11:2
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Maybe it's because my family has been dealing with illness in the last few months, that I feel nearly unqualified to write about healing. And yet, at the same time, God's sheep hear His voice...and I believe that He has been speaking to me.
God's will on earth is not different than His will in heaven.
When we arrive in heaven, I don't believe that we will see sickness...not even a sniffle! I believe we can look forward to being 100% healthy. We will be in His presence, and our bodies will be new...but what about now? Aren't we in His presence now? Aren't we the temple where He dwells now? And what about His will for us, Now? If we know what His will is for us in heaven, then we know what His will is for us Now.
Jesus said, "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." So, if health is God's will in heaven, health is His will down here on earth as well. If He is against sickness there, He is against sickness here. God wants us healthy in heaven, but He also wants us healthy while we are here.
So...let's Let His Kingdom Come,...and His perfect will be Done...Now.
