Colossians 2:10 "and ye are complete in Him, which is the head if all principality and power."
From the moment you were born again, reborn into the kingdom of God..your life changed. The Bible says that you became new..a new creation. You became complete. You are whole. You have everything you need to live and walk in victory in this life. There is no lack!
If you look up that word "complete" in the Greek, it means to be full, to cause to abound, to be liberally supplied, or to fill to the top so that nothing can be added. You are literally overflowing in the goodness and the blessings of God! You lack nothing that you need for life. Oh, you may FEEL as though you are missing something, but the word of God states emphatically that you have been made complete. In Christ dwells all the fullness of God..and you are in Christ! Amazing!
In Christ, you have been made free. You are not under the law, but you are IN Him! All of the promises of God in Christ are ALREADY yes and amen! You have been forgiven. You stand before Him... faultless. You've been redeemed by His blood, and you are accepted. You have been adopted. You were chosen by Him. You are His child, His beloved. He has blessed you with wisdom and with understanding. Your hope is fully in Him, and it is an anchor that keeps you steady in times of trial. You have received an inheritance..and you were sealed with the Holy Spirit.
Paul's prayer for you was powerful. He prayed that the Father would give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. He prayed that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened..and that you would know the hope of His calling and the riches of the glory of this inheritance. He prayed that you would know the power given to us..the same power that raised Christ from the dead! And remember...in Christ all the promises of God are already yes and amen!
If you are in a battle of any kind, remember who He has made you to be. You are not weak. You are not without strength. You don't have to live in depression or discouragement. The promises of God are yours. You can walk in peace and joy. You can be at rest, not because of anything you do..but because of what Jesus has done. He is the Head over all principality and power. As a plant draws nourishment from the soil through its roots, we are rooted in Christ..and we draw life giving strength..from Him.
Knowing Christ..and who you have been made to be IN Him..is what you stand on when dealing with any kind of battle. He is your unique Source of wisdom and power...and you are complete...in Him!
